About CBTS

CBTS seeks to integrate both theory and practice in her training and help students maintain a healthy balance in their spiritual, doctrinal, cultural, intellectual and vocational competences and realities as they engage in ministry within and without the confines of the CBC Church.

Our Motto is from 2 Corinthians 5: 18-20, which reads:

All this is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation; that is in Christ God was reconciling the to himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting to us the message of reconciliation.  Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, God making his appeal through us.  We implore you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God.

As Ambassadors for Christ we have been given the ministry of reconciliation.  We are joining what God is doing (He is making his appeal through us) and we carry out the ministry of reconciling people to God because of Christ.  When we are in right relationship with God then we can begin to be in right relationship with one another.
